Objective: Every user must comply with the established norms and rules for the use of the Ocean Reef Marina helipad.

1. Reservation
Anyone wishing to use the helipad must make a reservation through the website www.oceanreefmarina.com.pa/heliport-reservation.

Use of the helipad without a prior reservation is not allowed. Users who insist on using the helipad without a reservation will be fined.

A fine will also be applied to users who operate a helicopter without a reservation at the same time as another scheduled helicopter.

Aircraft not authorized by the PH of Ocean Reef Islands will not be allowed to file a flight plan with this destination.

It is important that the reservation is made by the owner or resident who knows their departure time.

2. Landing
The helicopter must land at the designated landing point (H) – the large helipad.

3. Waiting Time on Helipad
Helicopters must always land on the largest helipad, certified by the Civil Aviation Authority (AAC). If passengers are not ready, the helicopter may wait no longer than 5 minutes. After this, it must move to the smaller secondary helipad designated for waiting.

4. Operating Hours
The helipad is available for use from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

5. Boarding
Only individuals who will board the helicopter and the driver transporting them are allowed near the helipad area.

6. Use
If a property owner grants a guest access to use the helipad, the owner must notify the guest’s information for proper registration.

7. Safety
All safety regulations indicated at the helipad entrance must be followed.

8. Circulation / Transportation
Users with a prior reservation must present themselves at the marina, located in the basement of Island 1, and show their reservation to the security personnel at the gate. Security will then assign a golf cart to transport them to the helipad.

9. Restrictions and Use
The helipad, certified by the Civil Aviation Authority, allows aircraft to enter from any quadrant (North, South, East, and West). It is recommended to avoid flying over the islands and, whenever possible, to use the marina and breakwater area for takeoffs and approach maneuvers.

The entry point to the island should be from the Southwest:
N 08° 57′ 47″ W 079° 30′ 27″

The departure point should be toward the Southeast:
N 08° 57′ 52″ W 079° 29′ 58″

This is to ensure sufficient distance between aircraft and to mitigate the risk of collision.
